My 07 Polo 1.4 SE (update 24/09/08)

Postby charlievwp on Sat Nov 10, 2007 6:19 pm

Well, here it is....chris and I have had an afternoon of cleaning "vwp" and "fumf" so thought we'd capture the moments on camera while it lasts!

I have a 1.4 SE 2007 Polo in Olympic Blue.
Bought back in July (nearly new) with 3k on the clock.

Since then, I have (with the help of the boyo);
:arrow: Put honeycomb GTi grille on (debadged)
:arrow: Fitted 16" GTi alloys with dunlops
:arrow: Fitted new stereo - which I may be changing again soon for one with dvd screen :D
(keep changing my mind but thats a womans prerogative isn't it?!
:arrow: And finally, fitted a dash cubby box from vagparts.

Next thing to get is some coilovers...but they'll have to wait until Christmas spending is out the way!

Well, here are a few pics anyway.....any opinions/suggestions welcome!

Thanks for the comments guys, and for the suggestions Simon.
Definitely looking to lower in the not-too-distant future.
I have also looked into window tints but there are legal restrictions for the fronts so i'm debating on whether to just go for more subtle ones to avoid getting stopped....either that or just get rears done only.
I'm kinda happy with my plate "vwp" and I was lucky to get it really. I have looked at plates for my name but they're stoooopidly expensive!!
I'll definitely be up for club stands when I get it up to standard though-great! :D

I drove the 1.2 for a few days as a courtesy car....sooo glad I went for the 1.4!!
I think i'll be looking at around £200 ish for window tints...just got to decide what grade to get...possibly 3 at back and 1/2 for fronts
