I had started to get pretty annoyed with rain coming in through my window or even when I used the washer jets
....so, got some rain deflectors off fleabay!
They're quite discreet and were pretty cheap so i'm really happy with the result. Whadd'ya think?
Just gave vwp a mini-wash and took the opportunity to grab some pics! :D

And then it was just an excuse to take some moe pics!!

I haven't really had the cash lately to spend on the Polo, however when a chance of a 10-strong group buy came up to grab some lower honeycombe grilles - I just had to.
I'd been keeping my eyes open for these almost since the day I picked vwp up. (VW never made them for the mk7 for some unknown reason)
Sooo, Chris was put to good use......!

The centre grille was a pain to get out and took a lot of welly but got there in the end:

New grilles in - very happy:

Total cost delivered = £80

Next job is to fit some fogs into the huuuuge holes.
Just picked some new off fleabay for £50 delivered and hoping to get them fitted soon.

I haven't bought the wiring or switch for the fogs so far - so they won't be functional just yet,
but with another 18 months until her 1st mot i'm in no hurry :D

Grilles look good Charlie.

Fogs are a doddle to wire (thats if the wiring isn't already there)

You just need a headlight switch (not from China) and use the output from that as a trigger wire to switch a simple relayed loom to the lights.

I'm sure Chris could manage that after seeing the state of the wiring in the Driver.

Thanks guys.
Had a bit of an issue with the fogs - they don't fit!
I've emailed the seller but no response as yet :(

Have you priced VW ones up?

Sometimes I am quite suprised at how cheap some parts can be. They will always give a good discount too if you ask.

I'd stick the others back on the bay as universal lights for a body kit.

Somebody'll buy them.
