GTI SPRING FESTIVAL SANTA POD SUNDAY 13th APRIL

I did a full De wax, prime and wax yesterday. pist it down last night. one more coat, then it's wash time or detail time at the pod.
Snow what if you jump a 50 ft cliff..

Santa Pod Raceway, Podington, Bedfordshire (J14/J16 M1)
Admission is only £15 for a full day!
(Under 13s go free - when accompanied by an adult)
Click here for map. Gates open at 8.00am. Absolutely no pets or glass bottles/containers on site.

well i'v done nothing to the cupra as i'm getting the body work done soon so wax and paint don't mix well

Really good day yesterday (well almost)
Really good to meet up with everyone one again, and glad to welcome a really top bunch of newbies. So much better than other clubs where nobody talks to each other.
The shows are getting better, with a much greater mix of all sorts of cars with so many different modding styles. Santa's also seems to have a really good laid back vibe about it.
Glad I didn't get booted off with the camper, the his vis boys were getting stropy when I turned up, but I guess they saw sence in the end.
Bloody drag strip was a pi8s take though. Pay your £20, then sit in a queue for nearly 3 hours and then not be able to run cos it has rained a little bit. I'm sure road cars are quite capable of travelling in a straight line with a bit of water on the road. I mean I managed to get home driving through some pretty heavy rain without having an off.
Will we get our money back? Dont know, but I am sure as hell not going to let this one go.
To sum up though. Top day, top cars, and best of all, top people.
