Speak for yer sen.. I was only 33 when I bought mine...

Exclusivity and V engine swayed me and the creamy interior. Money allowing it would have been a W8!

Not as such.

I just do bits now and again to keep it fresh. I hope to keep it for ever so long as I can keep it shiney side up, so it will be a very caravanner process.

I have just ordered a later style rear wiper, and bought a xenon headlight off ebay. I know I need 2, but this one only cost £22 with the postage, so I can see if I can get it to work, then look for another.

I'll probably go back to the standard 17" rims when the tyres are dead, cos it tramlines like a bugger on these cheap reps. Live and learn.

Fitted the new rear wiper and arm today.

It's from a B6 Passat and looks a bit more modern than the old one. Not a bad mod. The arm, blade and cap was £23 all in.

It's a bit shorter than the old one, but it'll be ok.
