Watched summat once on telly how they manufacture those silicon hoses.. A 4x4 is born on discovery me thinks.. Interesting.
Inters would be good chris. We need a good turn out, as numbers are lower than mine and Si's morals when rat arsed :-)

Are you going to loose the spare wiper hole while you're at it?

right

First up is bodywork, yes its getting painted and your still not seeing it, but to prove its getting done here's a pic of the sunroof out and hole masked up, exciting eh

Image

next up i thought i would turn my attention to the dash, As yo will know i am flocking the dash and having all aftermarket gauges in a carbon fibre surround, got to work fab'in these up.

Image

Image

the smaller on will house the heater control and warning lights.

then i decided to relocate the fuse panel and make a home in the centre console, all other switches will be house'd here too.

Image

while the fibreglass was setting i thought i should at least try to tackle the wiring 8O

Image

and inside

Image

and with the centre console in the car

Image

at the mo my living room looks like a VW factory, got mk2 bits all over it.

other half of the engine loom also spread out across the floor

cheers peeps
